Hello Techno Educators!!
I was truly honored to be a presenter at the 2013 MECA Conference last week. The techno educators ( as I like to call them) were excited to learn about the new technology that will be hot for 2013!! I couldn't wait to get back and blog about what I had learned at the conference!
So, Let me share one of the coolest FREE Web 2.0 tools that stood out to me.
Cel.ly is a cool texting system that you can use in your classroom to send out homework reminders, school news, and classroom news. Students can subscribe to the texting system by texting a simple code word to the number code you provide them. Ex: students text( school) to 34567 and then it's sends them a notification saying they are suscribed to your group. Teachers can set up a private or public group and send out the code number for the students/teachers to suscribe to. You can have several administrators that control the group messages. So teachers please try out Celly today.. www.cel.ly

My name is Kimberly Lane Clark and I am a Blended Learning Specialist in Texas.

I LOVE educating teachers!  I love having the ability to help teachers reach that pivotal moment in their lesson by integrating technology into the classroom. I love how I can help teachers make technology meaningful in their classrooms.
YOU CAN BE A TECHNO EDUCATOR ALSO!!  A Techno Educator is someone who is excited about technology, who does not fear technology, likes to solve software problems, likes to teach with technology, and is a 21st century learner.
