Let me first start off by saying HAPPY NEW
YEAR!! I am so excited about this year because it is the season of change. Please begin to follow your dreams and create goals that you can seek out to achieve. Now I bet some of you Techno Educators are wondering, what in the world is a Phablet? I recently read this article from Tech and Learning called Forget the SmartPhones, Forget the Tablet- The Phablet is the Gadget of 2013. This article talks about how Smart Phones such as The Galaxy Note could take over the tablet world. I personally do not like the Galaxy Note because it is huge to use on a day to day basis as a phone. I just do not understand how you can hold a Phablet up to your ear and carry on a normal conversation. (lol) On the other hand, I do think that it could compete with other tablets and smart phones because of their capabilities of being 2 in 1 device. You can get the perks of communicating with others and using Google apps, read books, write papers, and etc. Educators can also use this device in the classroom and schools district can afford to purchase a "phablet" for every student. I think it would be an easier device to handle in the classroom because of the size especially in elementary classrooms. I would like to hear your opinions!!! DO you think a Phablet would out sale the world of tablets?
