Our students recently were chosen to present to a group of teachers at Region 10's tech conference. The students presented to teachers on makey makey and breakout edu and how to use these tools to bring excitement to their classroom and on how to engage students by showing what they "know". Think about this: Have you ever wondered how fun it would be if students actually taught your class for a day? Students actually created a lesson plan and objective for the day to teach their peers or even teachers. How awesome is that?!? When I was in the classroom, I always allowed students to teach the class about a new hot topic in technology once a month to their peers and of course me. The excitement on their faces were priceless and we were always able to learn from one another. So what are you waiting for? Let's encourage our students to break out and teach others about what they know. Please click the image below to view the students talking about their awesome work with teachers!
