The Summer Institute is an annual professional development conference which focuses on classroom-ready, STEM-based educational materials. Workshops feature integrated educational modules and activities for all grade levels developed by some of the nation’s leading research institutions (Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard, Texas A&M, University of Texas Austin, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Tufts University). Participants will receive training from experts, researchers, and master teachers; resources and materials; breakfast and lunch daily, and CPE credits for each workshop. There is no cost for the Institute. The SI will take place July 23-26, 2018 at the Inn of the Hills Hotel and Conference Center in Kerrville, TX. For more information about workshop descriptions, schedule, and online registration: educators may visit www.k12summerinstitute.org . The FAQ section on the website provides additional information.

I LOVE educating teachers!  I love having the ability to help teachers reach that pivotal moment in their lesson by integrating technology into the classroom. I love how I can help teachers make technology meaningful in their classrooms.
YOU CAN BE A TECHNO EDUCATOR ALSO!!  A Techno Educator is someone who is excited about technology, who does not fear technology, likes to solve software problems, likes to teach with technology, and is a 21st century learner.
