HISD’s Young Women’s College Prep Academy is hosting Houston’s first Technovation Live Pitch on May 4th, and we need your help! Teams of middle and high school girls from across the world have gathered to create mobile apps that solve real problems in their communities. These are live, working apps that serve a real purpose! Many have partnered with area nonprofits to increase the efficacy of their tools. As the season comes to a close, the Houston area teams will be presenting their apps in hopes of continuing on to Technovation’s finalist round. YWCPA is in need of judges and other volunteers to help run the event. Please send these links to anyone that might be interested!
